Ubisoft adds Vulkan support to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege to improve graphical performance

Ubisoft has announced that patch 4.3 will add support for the Vulkan API in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. This new API promises to further improve graphical performance, and help to reduce CPU and GPU cost. As such, CPU-limited PC systems will most likely see a performance boost via this API. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Y4S4.2 Update released, full patch notes revealed

Ubisoft has released a new major update for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. According to the release notes, Patch Y4S4.2 fixes the Clash exploit, as well as the Operator hitboxes that could sometimes clip through reinforced walls and be shot. It appears that Rainbow Six will abandon all single-player campaigns in the foreseeable future. Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will be available to play for free from November 15th to November 18th. As the press release reads, interested players can join more than 40 million players in the Rainbow Six Siege community on all consoles and Windows PC. Ubisoft is censoring Rainbow Six Siege, will remove environmental blood, gambling and sexual content

Ubisoft has announced that it will be censoring Rainbow Six Siege. The team is currently working towards preparing Rainbow Six Siege for expansion into Asian territories and as such, there will be some adjustments made to its maps and icons to ensure compliance. These changes will affect all players, though as the French company noted none of these changes will have an impact on gameplay.
