Rainbow Six Siege is having another free weekend for everyone interested in online first-person shooters. The free weekend will take place from June 11th, until June 14th. The full game will be available to you, including all of the maps and modes the game has to offer.
This is the Year 5 for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, which is probably the most popular online title from Ubisoft. Operation Void Edge comes with two new Operators, a map rework and numerous gameplay updates.
Ubisoft has announced that patch 4.3 will add support for the Vulkan API in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. This new API promises to further improve graphical performance, and help to reduce CPU and GPU cost. As such, CPU-limited PC systems will most likely see a performance boost via this API. Ubisoft has released a new major update for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. Ubisoft released today a new mode for Rainbow Six Siege called Showdown. This is a limited-time mode and it will be available until July 16th.
It appears that Rainbow Six will abandon all single-player campaigns in the foreseeable future. Despite a certain amount of people wanting a single-player campaign, Rainbow Six Brand Director Alexandre Remy claimed that the solo/single-player experience for the Rainbow Six franchise is dead. Ubisoft has announced that it will be censoring Rainbow Six Siege. The team is currently working towards preparing Rainbow Six Siege for expansion into Asian territories and as such, there will be some adjustments made to its maps and icons to ensure compliance.
