Rather than canceling the event it appears that Le Mans will follow the likes of NASCAR by going virtual this year. At least in part, the in-person race will still occur in September. However on the originally scheduled date a new event has been announced, a virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans race and this time the pros will be racing in rFactor 2. Earlier this month, Ubisoft’s Malek Teffaha claimed that Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla would not be the longest or largest game of the franchise.
