Fallout New Vegas fans, here’s something for you today. Modder ‘TheKetzku’ released a new mod for it that upgrades the game’s audio system. It’s called ATMOS Ambience Overhaul, and it makes the sounds in New Vegas much better. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
The ATMOS Ambience Overhaul Mod will upgrade the background sounds in the game with modern enhancements. It also uses advanced technology to make sounds come from specific directions. Plus, the mod includes over 1000 new custom-made sound effects, created with high-quality equipment used in the film industry. Additionally, it includes other cool audio features to make your time in the Mojave Desert feel even more realistic and immersive.
All in all, this is a really cool mod for all audio fans. And, since there aren’t a lot of audio enhancement mods for FNV, you should definitely check it out. You can download the mod from this link. If you are into Fallout: New Vegas, you can also try these other mods for it. For instance, this mod adds real-time reflections. Another one changes over 1,000 functions to make the game run smoother. Oh, and there’s a mod that reduces landscape texture seams. Plus, there’s a mod to make the game’s characters even smarter. Another must-have mod is this one which improves collision accuracy, and fixes/optimizes meshes. And if you love quests, there’s a mod that gives you an endless supply of new ones. Let’s also not forget Visuals Improved Content Expanded Mod. This mod fills the surroundings of Vegas to make it feel more like a real city.
There are also some cool fan-made expansions for New Vegas. Four of them are being made as we speak. These are Fallout: Broken City, Fallout Van buren Remake, Fallout: Nuevo Mexico and Star Wars Open Worlds. On the other hand, we have these DLC-sized mods that you can grab and play right now. These fan expansion mods are Fallout New California, Fallout: Free Cheyenne Demo, Fallout New Vegas: Out of Bounds and Fallout The Frontier.
Last month, we also shared an RTX Remix video for Fallout New Vegas. That video showcased a WIP version of an RTX Remix Mod that aimed to add Full Ray Tracing/Path Tracing to the game. Sadly, though, there is still no ETA on when the first version of this mod will come out. Naturally, though, I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
