You know what? I’m somehow sad – and disappointed – as Ground Branch has not been funded yet. MechWarrior Online Beta Footage

The closed beta phase of MechWarrior Online is underway and we bet that most of you would love to get in it, right? Well, until the game hits its open beta phase, you’ll have to rely on leaked videos from those participating in it. So, good news you MechWarrior lovers as YouTube’s member ‘Chadwich’ has captured 7 minutes of in-game action. Battlefield 3 meets Doom in this amazing ‘DoomField 3’ mashup video

Now this is brilliant. YouTube’s member ‘jettan’ was recording some gameplay footage of Battlefield 3 when suddenly the game glitched and his weapons got vanished. Jettan then came up with the idea of replacing the missing weapons with the ones from Doom and that’s how this video came to fruition. DoomField 3 looks ridiculously amazing and jettan has even included a face icon, similar to the one found in Doom. Enjoy! Indie third-person action/stealth ‘Blink’ gets some new footage

Do you remember Blink? No? Shame on you. Blink is a third-person action/stealth game that is being made by a team of students. According to Mihir, one of the team’s members, who has informed us about the completion of Blink’s development, the game was ‘roughly a 1 year long student project in which we wanted to see if we could produce close to AAA quality material with a budget of $0‘. Spec Ops: The Line – Launch Trailer

2K Games has released the launch trailer of their third person squad-based game, Spec Ops: The Line. The squad-based action in Spec Ops: The Line is highlighted by an intelligent squad command system that allows players to tactfully take out insurgents as they advance into the heart of Dubai. Gamers will blast their way through sandstorms with a variety of weapons and explosives, even using sand as a weapon to strategically bury enemies in their path. Combining intense action with a riveting narrative and the unique setting of a sandstorm ravaged Dubai, Spec Ops: The Line is unlike any other military shooter. First gameplay footage from Mojang’s ‘Scrolls’ title, game approaches closed beta phase

Mojang has unveiled some new information – as well as the first gameplay trailer – about their upcoming turn-based game, Scrolls. Scrolls aims to take the genre of Collectible Card Games to a whole new level and is packed with a streamlined gameplay that is aimed towards digital online gaming, auction houses, single-player campaigns and an array of multi-player gaming modes such as friendly matches, tournaments and ranked matches. Overgrowth Alpha 183 Changes

Wolfire Games has released a new video that showcases the changes that have been made to the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. This week, David Rosen added a ‘case error’ alert and a ‘process pool’ toggle to config. Most of you won’t even bother with these features but let us tell you that they are really importan for developers and modders. Overgrowth looks great but we feel that the game has hit a wall or something, as there hasn’t been any major updates lately. Wolfire Games seems to be polishing various features but what we want to see is something more than an environment with some bunnies fighting each other. New screenshots and videos from the Doom 3 ‘Prometheus’ map

Bladeghost, creator of the promising Prometheus mod/map for Doom 3, has released some new screenshots and videos from it. Keep in mind that this project is being made by a single map and it’s still in early stage. This map has potential, however it’s really obvious that it still needs a lot of work.
