Bethesda has released the first in a three-part Dishonored webisode series entitled ‘The Tales from Dunwall’. These engrossing prequels, scored by Daniel Licht (Dexter) and narrated by Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick Ass), gives us a first-hand glimpse into Dishonored’s shadowy whaling world of Dunwall, where plague is rampant and the city is in disarray and on the verge of dystopia. Electronic Arts has released new trailers and a walkthrough for three of its upcoming titles – Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor: Warfighter and Need For Speed: Most Wanted. Dead Space 3’s video is 15 minutes long and gives us an insight to the thrilling action, and moments of isolation that are promised to be featured. Capcom has released a new trailer for Resident Evil 6. Resident Evil 6 promises to blend action and horror and be the dramatic horror experience of 2012. The game will offer three story campaigns (as well as a fourth part with Ada Wong) that can be played in both solo or co-op modes. At key moments during the game, up to four players can join together online to tackle a specific situation. Can’t see how this will improve the horror elements of this new RE game, but what do we know, right? Resident Evil 6 is scheduled for a console release on October 2nd. Ubisoft has also released a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist. According to its press release, a group of 12 have had enough and initiate a terror ultimatum called the Blacklist – a deadly countdown of escalating terrorist attacks on U.S. interests. Sam Fisher is the leader of the newly formed 4th Echelon unit: a clandestine unit that answers solely to the President of the United States. Sam and his team must hunt down these terrorists by any means necessary, and stop the Blacklist countdown before it reaches zero. And although it sounds crazy, everyone is currently dancing on this song rhythm. Unknown Worlds’ Hugh has released a new, celebration, video for Natural Selection 2. Hugh has been recently hired by Unknown Worlds and this video was released in a way to celebrate his new job position. Natural Selection 2 is an immersive hybrid of online first-person shooter and real-time strategy gameplay that pits aliens against humans in a struggle for survival. Players can battle it out through dynamic, atmospheric environments at ground level using unique weapons and abilities, or take a commanding role from above to lead their team to a well-coordinated victory.
