Arkane Studios & Bethesda have unveiled – via the game’s official FB page – that a new DLC for Dishonored will be hitting streets on April 16th. This new DLC will be called The Knife of Dunwall, will cost $9.99 (800 Microsoft Points) and will allow players to take on the role of Daud, the mysterious assassin who killed the Empress at the beginning of Dishonored. It’s really amazing witnessing such detailed environments from 3D artists that surpass those of triple-A titles. Shaun Baker has created a gorgeous environment that is based on the Aliens franchise, an environment that puts to shame those featured in Aliens: Colonial Marines. Imagine if Gearbox’s title looked like that. Man, now that would be awesome. Today we bring you new shots from 3D artists and CryEngine 3 modders Glode, scotthomer, Rens, chicken, QuadReaktor, ReVan1199, EliteGhost and i59. The highlight of this week is undoubtedly scotthomer’s finished Bioshock environment, as well as Rens’ finished environment based on Bungie’s Halo. These two guys will be featured in the next issue of the online Vertex magazine, so make sure to keep an eye on it. Although its driving mechanics are not up to what we’d expect from such a game (and its physics are worse than those featured in Assetto Corsa), Slightly Mad Studios’ racer is the best looking racing game we’ve ever seen. Ubisoft has released some new screenshots and artworks for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. What’s interesting here is that AC4 will support dual wielding, something that was missing from all previous Assassin’s Creed games. As we’ve said and before, this new AC game will focus on Haytham’s father, Edward. The game is planned for a 2013 release on current generation consoles, and the PC version might get delayed until next-generation versions hit stores (as it will be most probably based on those versions). Codemasters has revealed – via the game’s official FB page – a bunch of screenshots for GRID 2. In this huge set, the company included some new, previously unreleased, images that can be viewed below. Thief fans, get ready for a treat. GameInformer will be unveiling today its cover story that is said to be a next-generation title. There are rumors that this title is Thief 4, and thankfully the first screenshots of it have been leaked. According to the Russian website GamesManiac, Thief 4 is scheduled for a 2014 release on PC and next-generation consoles, and you can find the leaked screenshots below. Ubisoft has unveiled – via the game’s FB page – a new screenshot for Watch Dogs, showcasing the visuals that gamers will enjoy when this title hits stores. Watch Dogs is being developed primarily on the PC, and is planned for a 2013 release. The game will be powered by a brand new engine, called the Disrupt engine, that is said to be more efficient and better optimized than the AnvilNext engine. Enjoy!
