YouTube’s members ‘BSNismo’ and ‘Garygarynetkar’ uploaded some new videos from the latest build of Slightly Mad Studios community-based racing sim, Project CARS. As you may notice, there a stuttering effect in some scenes that’s due to the lack of an in-game slomotion button, similar to the one in iRacing. Both users forced this slomotion effects and that’s what caused the stuttering effect. Let’s hope that Slightly Mad Studios will implement one in some future build of the game. Although we knew that Nvidia would introduce a new feature to its ForceWare drivers, we didn’t expect to find it hidden in the latest ForceWare 290.53. This new feature is called Frame Rate Limiter and as its title suggest, it can limit your framerate to a specific value. Unfortunately, the Frame Rate Limiter is not present on Nvidia’s Control Panel, therefore you’ll need Nvidia’s Inspector Tool, a third-party program, to enable it. The good thing about SkyBoost is that it does not require the SKSE, which basically means that you simply install this plugin – like most others – and you are good to go. In an attempt to further improve GTA IV’s visuals, Hayssam Keilany is developing the next version of his iCEnhancer mod. In case you are interested in it, iCEnhancer 2.0 – Beta 3 will be available for some people on its official the forum tomorrow, as Keilany needs some testers.
