We do know that a lot of gamers have been dreaming for a crossover between Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. Ed Boon has expressed his desire for something like that, as well as Yoshinori Ono. Although something like that is quite difficult due to MK’s fatalities and general brutality – and the fact that most SF characters are not as agressive as those of MK – there is still hope. Let’s be honest here, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning doesn’t look as good as we’d hoped to. It has blurry textures and looks a bit flat in most occasions. And I’m amazed with the subtle – yet noticeable – improvements that Skyrim’s FXAA Injector brings to the table. The sharpening filter is ideal for all those blurry road textures and the ability to adjust the game’s saturation – and bring it to your own taste – is something that most games should feature as an in-game option. Make no mistake, this FXAA Injector tool is a must-have tool as the game looks so much more vivid with it. Download link and comparison video below. Each and every week, we are bringing you shots from mods that are under development for Crysis 2. And even though Crysis 2 did not show off CryEngine 3’s capabilities, these upcoming mods prove that Crytek’s engine is ideal for a variety of games. But let’s get back on topic, shall we? Today we bring you some new images from the mods/maps of Synce, iSqueezee, Mocib, the_grim, ReVan1199 and modsuki. Enjoy! This week’s GTA IV gallery is dedicated to Hayssam Keilany’s amazing mod. iCEnhancer 2.0 is a beauty to behold and comes with better performance than its previous versions. This is as good as it gets, although we are pretty sure that the modder will come up with fresh, new ideas for it in the coming months. Until then though, this is the way GTA IV was meant to be played. Enjoy everyone! Continue reading Weekly GTA IV Gallery [February 5th – 11th] iCEnhancer 2.0 Tribute→

Remember when Oblvion was announced and Bethesda showcased the amazing dynamic lighting system that would be featured in it? Oh God, you can’t imagine how disappointed I was when I found out that our beloved company had decided to dumb it down. And guess what; Skyrim suffers from the very same thing. Oh yeah, a lot of light sources are don’t cast shadows and as a result of that, most of the interiors look flat. A nice workaround is the implementation of SSAO but lets be honest, a dynamic lighting system should be present in most modern-games. YouTube’s member, ‘shinnntube’, went ahead and made a comparison video between the PC and the X360 version. Although the preview version does not include all the re-touched textures that Remedy has added to the game, we can clearly see a better terrain and environment on the PC. Alan Wake’s coat also looks better than the one found in the X360 and generally speaking, there is a noticeable improvement in the game’s graphics. Alan Wake PC is slated for a February 16th release. Enjoy! Continue reading Alan Wake – PC vs X360 Comparison Video→
