Total War Battles: KINGDOM Announced – Free-To-Play Strategy With Cross-Platform Support

SEGA today announced Total War Battles: KINGDOM; a new strategy game that is currently in development by Creative Assembly’s Digital Team, creators of 2012’s Golden Cube-winning Total War Battles: SHOGUN. Total War Battles: KINGDOM will be a free-to-play, persistent-world strategy game, in which players will be able to rule their home kingdom across multiple platforms. The Crew – Day-One Patch Detailed

Ubisoft’s The Crew is currently available on all platforms and the French company has released a day-one update for it. According to the changelog, this update fixes matchmaking and sessions problem, and improves the game’s performance and stability. We’ve contacted Ubisoft for a review code, so hopefully we’ll get one sooner than later. Regarding Inquisition, we’ve been in contact with EA for the past two weeks and still have not secured a review code. We’ll give the big publisher one more day until we purchase the game ourselves. Far Cry 4 – Latest Update Removes Enhanced God-Rays From PS4 Version

Man, it really seems that Ubisoft can’t stop screwing things up. Yesterday, a video came to our attention suggesting that the latest Far Cry 4 update for PS4 removed the God-Ray effects that were previously available to it. Instead of posting this article straight away, we decided to hold our horses until we got confirmation from a number of sources. This past Saturday, the 18th installment in the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn ‘Letter from the Producer LIVE’ series featured an in-depth discussion led by producer/director Naoki Yoshida on the recent Patch 2.4 release and the upcoming debut of Patch 2.45. Kotaku has just unveiled the first details and screenshots for next year’s Assassin’s Creed title, codenamed Victory. Assassin’s Creed: Victory is being developed by Ubisoft Quebec, will come to current-gen platforms only (PC, Xbox One and PS4), will be powered by AnvilNext, and will take place in London. Fortnite Alpha Testing Begins Tomorrow, Will Run From December 2nd To December 19th

Epic Games has announced that the alpha testing phase for its Minecraft-like Unreal Engine 4 powered project, Frostbite, will begin tomorrow.
