The Crew: Wild Run Is Now Available, New Update For The Crew Overhauls Visuals

Ubisoft has announced that The Crew: Wild Run, the expansion to the action-driving MMO The Crew, is available worldwide for download on UPLAY. The Crew – PC Performance Analysis

On December 1st, The Crew’s designer Serkan Hasan claimed that this MMO racing game would not suffer from all the launch issues that plagued both Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. And to his credit, Serkan was right; The Crew runs amazingly well on the PC, offers a native 60fps option from the get-go (contrary to its alpha build), packs a variety of graphics options to tweak, and feels like a really polished title. The Crew – Ultra Versus Low Comparison Screenshots

A couple of weeks ago, Ubisoft claimed that The Crew would not be plagued by the performance – and launch – issues of both Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. And to its credit, the French company was right. The Crew – Day-One Patch Detailed

Ubisoft’s The Crew is currently available on all platforms and the French company has released a day-one update for it. According to the changelog, this update fixes matchmaking and sessions problem, and improves the game’s performance and stability. We’ve contacted Ubisoft for a review code, so hopefully we’ll get one sooner than later. Regarding Inquisition, we’ve been in contact with EA for the past two weeks and still have not secured a review code. We’ll give the big publisher one more day until we purchase the game ourselves. The Crew Gets Launch Trailer

Ubisoft’s The Crew releases tomorrow and the French company has unveiled the game’s launch trailer. In The Crew, players will experience an MMO wild ride across a massive, open-world recreation of the United States that is loaded with exciting challenges. Here is hoping that a) the servers will handle the massive amount of players that will connect online, b) that the PC version will not face any performance issues and c) that Ubi will send us a review code. The Crew Gets 101 Trailer, Far Cry 4 Gets Map Editor Trailer

Ubisoft has also released today two new trailers; one for The Crew and the other for Far Cry 4. With the The Crew’s trailer, Ubisoft is bringing us up to speed in this comprehensive look into the game’s world, cars and drivers. On the other hand, Far Cry 4’s trailer is focused on its Map Editor. Using assets from the world of Far Cry 4, you’ll be able to add everything from vehicles to elephants to AI soldiers to weapons.
