Ubisoft has announced that a brand new update for its latest strategy game, Anno 1800, will release on July 30th. Battlefield 5 update 4.2 now available for download, brings numerous changes, full patch notes

DICE has released a brand new update for Battlefield 5. According to the release notes, update 4.2 reduces the recoil, and increases the muzzle velocity for the P08 Carbine in a bid to improve its effectiveness, and awards kills in Firestorm if the enemy player disconnects during the downed state. It appears that the first Technical Test for the PC version of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will begin on July 26th. Bigben has announced the signing of an agreement for the acquisition of Spiders, a French video game development studio specializing in action and role-playing games. As the press release reads, and after the acquisition of 3 studios in the last 18 months, this new strategic operation allows Bigben to assert its position as a developer-publisher while strengthening its expertise in content production for succesful genres still missing in its portfolio. Overwatch surpasses $1 billion revenue thanks to its in-game micro-transactions

SuperData Arcade has shared its monthly report, stating that Overwatch has surpassed $1 billion revenue thanks to its in-game micro-transactions. As such, Blizzard’s MOBA shooter became the 64th game on either console, PC or mobile to generate over $1 billion from in-game content alone. PC demo now available for Square Enix’s upcoming action-RPG, ONINAKI

Now here is a pleasant surprise. Square Enix has just released a demo on the PC for its upcoming action-RPG, ONINAKI. ONINAKI will be Tokyo RPG Factory’s third title – following I Am Setsuna  and LOST SPHEAR – and promises to continue the studio’s mission to take inspiration from classic Japanese role-playing games to create a brand-new experience on modern platforms.
