Wasteland: Angel will hit PCs later this week; New Screenshots + Trailer

Meridian4 released today some brand new, in-game screenshots of their upcoming top-down isometric arcade shooter, Wasteland: Angel. According to its press release, the PC version will be available later this week via digital download on Steam and other channels, with additional downloadable content becoming available post launch. Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection – Launch Trailer

Warner Bros released today the launch trailer of Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection. This collection is developed by Other Ocean in conjunction with NetherRealm studios and promises to be an arcade-perfect port. Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection will offer fans the chance to play through the games in their original arcade state and rediscover all their favorite characters, fatalities and environments as well as relive some of the franchise’s most memorable secrets. In addition, this new collection will feature online play, leaderboards, achievements and trophies. The game comes out today XBLA and PSN. PC gamers will have to wait a little longer as the PC version is delayed till next month. Enjoy the trailer! The Haunted: Hells Reach; Third-Person Survival Horror Shooter Coming To PC This October

ValuSoft announced today that The Haunted: Hells Reach will be available for PC at major retailers nationwide this October and is scheduled to be available in early 2012 as a download on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox360 and also on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3. The Sims Medieval: Pirates and Nobles is now available

EA Play Label announced today that The Sims Medieval: Pirates and Nobles is now available across Europe. The Sims Medieval: Pirates and Nobles is an adventure pack to The Sims Medieval, a new series that places the popular simulated characters from The Sims into the Middle Ages and lets players create heroes, venture on quests and control a kingdom. The adventure pack includes a new storyline, additional quests and one new Kingdom Ambition for players to embark on in their medieval kingdoms. Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [August 21th – August 27st]

Another week, another PC charts sales figures and as you may have guessed, Deus Ex: Human Revolution has really crashed every other competition. Yeap, Human Revolution has even managed to top the “The Sims 3” series in UK. Now the big question is how long will it stay at the top place as we already know that retail sales are not its highest revenue. We are also pleased with the return of Portal 2 and the fact that The Witcher 2 is still in the Top10. Steam sales on the other hand show a completely different face with Red Orchestra 2 entering its digital Top 10 chart. Strangely enough, Modern Warfare 3 is nowhere to be found this week. Overgrowth – Alpha 146 changes

Wolfire Games released today a new video that showcases the changes that were made to the 146 version of Overgrowth’s Alpha. This week, the team’s main programmer, David Rosen, extended the active block system to work with weapons, removed the auto slow-motion effect from the fights and tweaked a bit the blood effects.
