IO Interactive has released the first patch for its latest James Bond game, 007 First Light. So, let’s see what this first update brings to the table.
Patch 1.0.1 fixes a crash that occurred during a cutscene featuring Bond & Moneypenny after the Opening Credits. It also fixes an issue in Chapter 06 “Uninvited”, where guards would immediately become hostile and skip confrontational dialogue after Bond leaves the CCTV room. Furthermore, it fixes an issue where Bond standing in Greenway’s or other NPCs’ way would lead to pathing issues, making them disappear or go through walls.
The game should also now be more stable on your PC. The devs have fixed a crash that occurred after leaving M’s office in Chapter 02 “A Night Out”. They have also fixed a crash that occurred during a cutscene after the completion of Chapter 05 “Beyond the Grave”.
From what we can see, this is a small update. Nevertheless, it will improve your overall experience. So, make sure to update to this latest version.
Like always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client. Patch 1.0.1 is around 295MB in size. Below, you can also find its full patch notes.
