Flatout 3: Chaos Destruction – Third Update Released; Team 6 Shows Impressive Post-Launch Support

Holy Batman, FlatOut 3 has been out for quite a few days and has already received two updates. Two bloody updates and other companies can’t even release one with mere fixes. The previous two updates that got released featured AI difficulty rebalances, car physics properties rebalances, car deformation, improved physics for all cars and the introduction of the ‘Classic’ Mode. In other words, this is the way it’s meant to be. Team 6 sent us word that a new, third update is out now and features some performance optimizations and a brand new Christmas character. You can view the entire changelog – for all patches – bellow and as always, the latest patch will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. Dungeons of Dredmor – New Updated Released

Gaslamp Games released a new update for their amazing indie RPG, Dungeons of Dredmor. In addition, the game comes with a 50% discount and is currently priced at only 1.99 euros. This is like stealing so go ahead and get it guys, you won’t regret it. The new update comes with lots of fixes and you can view its entire changelog bellow. God, I love modders. I’m pretty sure that everyone has noticed slowdowns when entering Skyrim’s cities and where there are a lot of NPC’s. Have you ever wondered what was the culprit and caused that performance hit? Apparently, it was due to un-optimization as modder Arisu released a mod – that is currently compatible only with the 1.3.10 version of Skyrim – that offers up to 40% performance boost on both high-end and low-end machines. Admit it, when you first saw the footage of Ridge Racer: Unbounded you thought that it was a completely different game, right? Well, in fact, it was originally meant to be a completely different game. Yeap, that’s exactly what Bugbear Entertainment has revealed a few days ago. According to the company’s senior producer, Joonas Laakso, Bugbear was working on a new racing game when it was approached by Namco. The former show Bugbear’s latest game and decided to make an offer to the studio that was hard to refuse. New Alan Wake website launched; new developer diary coming in a few days

Remedy has just launched a new website for their Alan Wake series. PC fans will be pleased to see the PC logo at the bottom of the site and as was stated earlier, the game is currently slated for an early 2012 release on the PC. Unfortunately though, we don’t have any news to share about the PC version of Alan Wake or about a future PC version of Alan Wake: American Nightmare. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Look out, here comes the Spiderman

Now that’s just… weird and funny at the same time. FancyPantz has replaced the spiders’ skin with the one of our friendly neighborhood Spiderman. Contrary to other attempts, FancyPantz’s work has been weighted to the spider’s skeleton. All animations should function properly for the most part, though it looks weird as hell. The arms and legs have been rigged (roughly) to four of the spider’s legs. Moreover, sounds have been replaced with recordings from the ‘Baman Piderman’ web series. Wreckage mod for Crysis is now available

The final episode of the popular singleplayer-mod-trilogy for Crysis has just been released and you’ll find bellow some screenshots from it, as well as its launch trailer! Wreckage offers an action orientated presentation, teambased combat, complete voice acting and graphics on the same level as the original Crysis game and is developed by the team who brought you “Rainy Days”.
