Valve has released a new beta update for DOTA 2. Among other things, this update adds Shadow Demon, fixes Dust of Appearance not affecting magic immune heroes and adjust the Venomancer injured animation. Moreover, this update features various gameplay, UI, visuals, audio, and bots fixes/improvements. Baldur’s Gate fans, get ready for a treat as the new BG website has been updated and we got a counter that completes at 12 p.m. PST tomorrow. Although the site is down at the moment, we got a look at its source code that had a new quote. A couple of days ago, we informed you about the latest updates for this Baldur’s Gate game. Crysis 2 modder ‘TheModMan101’ has released a high-resolution asset pack for Crytek’s little gem. This Alpine Asset Pack features – among other things – new textures for Pine Needles, Moss, Mud, Gravel, Pebbles, and Grass. TheModMan101 has also released some screenshots from it that can be viewed below. The end result is amazing and we can’t wait to see those assets being used in custom-made maps/mods. The ‘Massive Damage’ video features work-in-progress gameplay footage and reveals the destruction-focussed game modes to feature in DiRT Showdown. Nordic Games announced today that the second stand-alone add-on for SpellForce 2 – “Faith in Destiny” will be launched in May 2012, exclusively on the PC. The game takes place four years after the events that occurred, when Shaper was conquered by the power of the Archfire. Four years in which scientists, dragons and inventors have tried to find a way to counter the deterioration of the portal – but to no avail.
