Legend of Grimrock gets its first patch; quick save/load, frame rate limiter & camera bobbing option

Almost Human have released the first update for their old-school dungeon-crawler RPG, Legend of Grimrock. This update includes a quick save/load system, a frame rate limiter and a camera bobbing option that is only available by editing the config file manually. Remember the classic NEO-GEO and Arcade hit, Metal Slug? Well, time to relive those old-school moments with Intrusion 2, a game that is programmed and designed by Abramenko Aleksey. Torchlight II – Opening Cinematic

Runic Games have released the opening cinematic for their upcoming hack n slash RPG, Torchlight II. The ‘New Heroes Will Arise’ cinematic opens Torchlight II, fills in the story between the end of Torchlight and the the beginning of Torchlight II. Battlefield 3 PC gets the anticipated server update; AA missiles fixed, tank armor strength tweaked

DICE and Electronic Arts have released the highly anticipated server update for the PC version of Battlefield 3. As we reported a couple of weeks ago, this update fixes the AA and TV missiles, and tweaks the tank armor strength. The update is applied automatically and you won’t have to do anything at all. FIFA 12 : UEFA EURO 2012 – Expedition Trailer

EA Sports have released a new trailer for the upcoming ‘Euro 2012’ DLC of Fifa 12. According to the press release, Expedition is a new fantasy-team based single-player mode in UEFA EURO 2012. UEFA EURO 2012 promises to recreate all the excitement of the official tournament with over 50 European national teams, all eight official stadiums, and all the pageantry and atmosphere of one of the largest and most-watched sporting events on the planet. The game will be available as a digital expansion pack for FIFA 12 from April 24 priced at 1,800 MS Points or 2,500 FIFA Points on PC. Enjoy! Crysis 3 gets a teaser trailer, full gameplay trailer coming on April 24th

As promised, Crytek has revealed a teaser footage for their 2013 CryEngine 3 powered FPS, Crysis 3. This teaser shows some breathtaking graphics, with warm lighting effects, smoother animations and a step forward to introducing more believable TODs. Impressive DemoReel video shows how SimCity would look using CryEngine 3

Enodo has released a DemoReel 2012 video for their cities that were achieved with CryEngine 3. According to the company, the virtual cityscapes shown here made it easy to visualize the changes that would result from a large-scale urban planning project, so that the impact of every design choice could be thoroughly considered, since changing any element of the virtual world is made easier with real-time 3D rendering that lets objects be moved and changes seen immediately. The end result is spectacular and showcases how SimCity would look using CryEngine 3. It’s a pretty impressive video, so give it a go. Special thanks to Rage3D’s member ‘Napoleonic’ for spotting it.
