It looks gorgeous, and each and every character looks identical to its ‘in-game’ incarnation. Holy Batman. Another petition being successful in this time and age? Who would have thought? And who cares, right? Well we do and – apparently – EA also does. So, good news C&C fans as the SP petition has delivered. Electronic Arts has announced that its upcoming, free-to-play, Command & Conquer game will feature a Single Player mode after all. This addition is being made due to the high demand of such a feature and is possible thanks to the F2P model that the company has embraced. The latest Top 10 PC charts have been revealed and as we can see, The Sims 3: Supernatural and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive are the best selling titles for the PC. The Sims 3 series is once again dominating the UKs PC Retail Charts, as we can spot six ‘The Sims 3’ titles. Guild Wars has lost its throne and is now at the second place, while Diablo III has lost one place. Skyrim, on the other hand, has gained two places and Battlefield 3 retained its tenth place. Codemasters today announced that a demo for F1 2012 will launch this week ahead of the full game’s launch on 21st September for X360, PS3 and PC. The F1 2012 demo will launch on Xbox 360 in Europe and North America today, for Windows PC worldwide and PlayStation 3 in North America on Tuesday 11th September and for PlayStation 3 in Europe on Wednesday 12th September. The show is hosted by Marisha Ray, with two debaters, Damian Beurer and Andy Liegl. Even though we’re currently preparing our weekly CryEngine 3 gallery, we felt the need to dedicate a whole post to this promising project. Modder ‘john1990’ wanted to see what Shenmue 3 would look like with today’s engines and decided to recreate Ryo Hazuki’s room in CryEngine 3. According to the modder, all models were created with blender and exported with cryblend, while textures created with GIMP 2.8. We currently don’t know whether the modder will recreate other locations, but here is hoping for something more than just a room. For comparison purposes, we’ve also included Hazuki’s room from the Dreamcast version of Shenmue. Enjoy the screenshots after the jump!
