Electronic Arts has released the official teaser trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront II, featuring game engine footage. The publisher will release a gameplay reveal trailer for this new Battlefront game tomorrow at 2:30PM ET/11:30AM PT. Star Wars: Battlefront II is powered by the Frostbite 3 Engine and is scheduled for a 2017 release. Enjoy!

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is coming to GOG and will be completely DRM-free

Ninja Theory has just announced that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be released on GOG. As with all games that are available on GOG, this version of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be DRM-free. In other words, no activation or online connection is required in order to play the game.

THQ Nordic and Phenomic have released an Anniversary Edition of SpellForce 2 on Steam. This new version of SpellForce 2 will be available for free to all existing owners of Spellforce 2 Gold Edition and comes with grass rendering and view distance improvements.

Epic Games releases Photorealistic Character Sample for Unreal Engine 4

Epic Games has released a realistic Unreal Engine 4 sample along with accompanying documentation to demonstrate the use of high-quality character shader techniques, similar to those used for characters in Epic’s MOBA title, Paragon.

Omega Quintet is coming to Steam later this year

Ghostlight has today announced that they will also be bringing Idea Factory’s hybrid JRPG/ Idol Simulation, Omega Quintet, to PC later this year. Omega Quintet was developed by Compile Heart under the brand Galapagos RPG for PS4, whilst Fukahire handled the original character design. 

AMD may have leaked Halo 3 for the PC, artwork showcased during its Korean R5 launch event

AMD held a launch event in Korea for its new R5 CPUs. So, during that event, AMD showcased a video with some upcoming games for the PC platform. What’s really interesting here is that AMD included an artwork from Halo 3, suggesting that this classic Halo game will finally come to the PC.

Theory Interactive has released a new video, showing 13 minutes of new gameplay footage from its upcoming first person puzzle/walking simulator game, Reset.
