NES-inspired platformer, A Hole New World, is now available on Steam

Now this completely passed under our radar. A few days ago, MadGearGames released its NES-inspired platform game, A Hole New World, on the PC. A Hole New World features retro visuals and comes with a Story mode with five different worlds, Game+, Boss Rush Mode, Challenge Mode and multiple endings.

Vanquish – First official beta patch fixes “enemy damage” & health regeneration at higher framerates

Little Stone Software has released the first official beta patch for the PC version of Vanquish. According to the release notes, this patch addresses the “enemy damage” bug that we’ve already reported, and fixes an issue with health regeneration at higher frame rates.

Shenmue 3 will not be present at E3 2017

Ys Net has announced that it will not showcase Shenmue 3 at this year’s E3. The team claimed that it’s working hard on it, and that it prefers to dedicate the entire June to the game’s development instead of attending game shows.

With the release of Unreal Engine 4.16, 3D artists decided to experiment and see whether they could recreate some scenes from The Last of Us in Epic’s engine. On one hand, we have Polycount’s ‘ajester‘ we is working on Ellie’s room; a scene based on the concept art made by John Sweeney.

Modder is working to fix Vanquish’s FPS related damage PC issues, first alpha version available

As we’ve already reported, the PC version of Vanquish suffers from some really weird damage issues that are due to its unlocked framerate. And even though Little Stone Software has not commented yet on this, Reddit’s member ‘Methanhydrat‘ is currently working on a temporary fix.
