Following ASUS’ example, MSI has announced a new gaming brand series based on AMD’s “Polaris” chipsets, the Radeon graphics-based MECH series. Equipped with the new thermal design, the Radeon RX MECH series doesn’t just allow for higher core and memory speeds but also provide increased performance in games.

Take-Two’s chief executive officer Strauss Zelnick claimed something that may – or may not – please a number of PC gamers. During the company’s financial conference call for the fiscal year ended on March 31st, Zelnick said that the PC has become a very important platform to Take-Two.
Need for Speed Payback mod introduces PCSS shadows, removes fog and vignette

Modder ‘GrosRelou’ has released a new mod for Need for Speed Payback that enables PCSS shadows, and removes the fog and vignette effects. This mod tries to improve the visuals by offering more realistic shadows and in order to showcase the differences, GrosRelou shared some comparison screenshots.

Mistaken Visions has announced that its noir-influenced horror game, The Piano, will now release via Steam on June 4th, and that it will be priced at $9.99. The game had previously been slated for release on 24 May but an unexpected technical issue has meant the launch has had to be slightly delayed.

Bigben has unveiled the new official release date for Tennis World Tour, the upcoming tennis simulation video game developed by Breakpoint. According to the press release, the PC version will release on June 12th on Steam.

Last week, we informed you about a possible reveal of the new Battlefield, which appears to be called Battlefield V, will be revealed on May 23rd. And today, comedian actor Trevor Noah confirmed that Electronic Arts will host an event on May 23rd in order to reveal its new Battlefield game.

Following the delay of Metro Exodus, Deep Silver has also announced that Shenmue 3 will now target a 2019 release. According to the publisher, this extra time will give the development team enough time to further polish the game.
