Doom fans, here is something for you. A team of modders has released a fan remake of the classic Doom game called Doom Remake 4. Now I know that Doom purists will hate this mod, however I strongly suggest keeping an open mind.

NVIDIA has just announced that it will enable G-Sync functionalities to a select number of FreeSync/Adaptive-Sync PC monitors that are currently available on the market. According to NVIDIA’s founder and CEO Jensen Huang, the green team is currently testing all FreeSync monitors and has announced the first models that will support G-Sync.

NVIDIA today announced the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060. According to the press release, the RTX 2060 GPU aims to deliver exceptional performance on modern games, with graphics enhanced by ray tracing and AI capabilities.

At CES 2019, NVIDIA has confirmed that Bioware’s Anthem will support its DLSS tech, Deep Learning Super Sampling. DLSS is perhaps the most promising tech we’ve seen from NVIDIA (as real-time ray tracing is still a lot of demanding even for RTX2080Ti) so we are glad that more developers are adopting it.

Yesterday we informed you about a new HD Texture Pack for Max Payne. And today, I’m happy to report that modders are currently working on AI-enhanced HD texture packs for two classic games; Final Fantasy 7 and Hexen.

As you may have noticed from my wallpaper, I’m a huge Blade Runner fan. Therefore, I really had to share with you this recreation of K’s apartment from Blade Runner 2049 in Unreal Engine 4. Though it’s not anything groundbreaking, it’s a pretty cool apartment.

CES 2019 begins in two days and while NVIDIA will host its keynote later today, AMD will host its keynote this Wednesday. And while we have a small idea of what we can expect from AMD, Tweaktown has reported that NVIDIA’s next-generation Ampere GPU will be launching in 2020 and not in 2019.
