Ubisoft has announced that patch 4.3 will add support for the Vulkan API in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. This new API promises to further improve graphical performance, and help to reduce CPU and GPU cost. As such, CPU-limited PC systems will most likely see a performance boost via this API.

AMD has released a new version of its TressFX tech, TressFX 4.1. In case you were unaware of, the TressFX library is AMD’s hair/fur rendering and simulation technology. Therefore, TressFX is designed to use the GPU to simulate and render high quality realistic hair and fur.

Perfect World Entertainment and Echtra Games announced today that Torchlight Frontiers will launch as Torchlight III on Steam this Summer.
