Modder ‘Seb263’ has released a really cool mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. The mod brings dynamic armor physics to the game, a feature that was never present in the original game. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
Dynamic Armor Physics makes bodies react realistically to worn armor by adjusting ragdoll weight and impact sounds in real time.
According to the modder, it works on the player and every NPC, of any race, including races and characters added by other mods, without requiring a single patch. As long as an actor is wearing armor, it will be detected and handled automatically.
The mod comes with four adjustable weight settings. These are unarmored, clothing, light armor, and heavy armor. It also comes with an adjustable weight limit to keep values reasonable at all times. Not only that, but it automatically changes impact sounds so they match what’s actually being worn.
Whenever a character equips or removes armor, or dies, the mod checks what is covering each body part. It then chooses the best item to display for that area. If a body part has multiple layers, the mod gives priority to heavy armor first, then light armor, then clothing, and finally bare skin.

With this mod, NPCs will now have a dynamic AI system, and they’ll seek cover. Let’s also not forget this mod that adds a dynamic sanity system. SkyPal is another must-have mod. This mod brings Skyrim and Pokemon together, allowing you to become a Beastmaster. So, if you want to be the “very best”, you should try it.
