Originally planned for a December release, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier PC Update 1.6 promises to improve performance, compatibility and online stability, and will come with free exclusive content. Our reader ‘Cristian Fabian Muñoz Isla’ about a brilliant idea. Modder ‘Doomero’ is creating a pseudo engine for GZDoom that will help you create 2D platform games. In its current form, this engine will be ideal for Donkey Kong Country levels, as Cristian will add all of Donkey Kong Country’s characters, enemies, items, textures, acs, and decoration details. Okay, most of you hate Unreal Engine 3 for its brown-ish colors. Fact is though that the engine is capable of more than you may think of it. The Samaritan tech demo showcased what Epic’s engine could achieve, and today we are offering you a glimpse at what a next-generation Mass Effect game could look like. Created by artist Baolong Zhang, the following shots showcase a character, inspired by BioWare’s RPG. Baolong has been using Unreal Engine 3 with some DX11 features, and even though the character is not finalized yet, it looks better than those present in Mass Effect 3. Enjoy! Project CARS Achieves Photorealism – First Community 2013 Screenshots Released

2013 will definitely be the year of Project CARS. Even though Slightly Mad Studios’ racer is not – at the current state – as hardcore as rFactor 2 and Assetto Corsa, it looks miles better than those two afforementioned titles. Slightly Mad Studios seems to aim for a mix between arcade and sim – instead of a pure simulation experience. This may put off some purists but still, the game promises to be better than Shift 2 or all other previous attempts. Project CARS is planned for a late 2013 release on PC, WiiU, PS3 and X360. And even though we don’t know how it will look on consoles, we already know that it looks spectacular on the PC. Enjoy! Powered by Crytek’s CryEngine 3, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 promises to be better in every area than its predecessor.
