Unknown Worlds’ Hugh has released a new, celebration, video for Natural Selection 2. Hugh has been recently hired by Unknown Worlds and this video was released in a way to celebrate his new job position. Natural Selection 2 is an immersive hybrid of online first-person shooter and real-time strategy gameplay that pits aliens against humans in a struggle for survival. Players can battle it out through dynamic, atmospheric environments at ground level using unique weapons and abilities, or take a commanding role from above to lead their team to a well-coordinated victory. Assassin’s Creed 3 – New Screenshots & Videos

Ubisoft has released some new screenshots for the latest iteration of its Assassin’s Creed series. Assassin’s Creed III introduces a new hero, Ratohnhaké:ton, of Native American and English heritage and its PC version is currently planned for a November 23rd release. XCOM : Enemy Unknown – PC Demo Is Now Available

Great news for PC gamers as 2K Games has announced that a PC demo is available for its upcoming strategy game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown. The demo is 5.8GB in size and includes two tutorial levels from the single-player campaign, which will allow players to learn the combat controls and combat tactics, as well as introducing them to the XCOM base. Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [September 16th – 22nd]

The latest Top 10 PC charts have been revealed and as we can see, Borderlands 2 is dominating both Steam’s digital and UK’s retail charts. UK’s Retail PC Charts are quite different from last week’s, thanks mainly to some newly released games that caught the attention of PC gamers. As said, Borderlands 2 is currently at the top place, followed by Guild Wars 2, The Sims 3: Supernatural and The Sims 3. F1 2012 is at the fourth place, while Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 is at the fifth place. Both Diablo III, Skyrim and Battlefield Premium have lost three places and can be spotted at the sixth, seventh and eighth place, respectively. The chart is completed with The Sims 3: Pets. Singularity is a multi-platform game which is developed by Raven Software, published by Activision and released on 25th June, 2010 on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. The game is mainly about an element called E-99, located, on a small island called Katorga-12, just near the Russian mainland. This element has time manipulation abilities and can ‘alter the time of an object’. The Soviet Union discovers this element during the World War II, and starts “weaponizing” it after hearing about America’s nuclear stockpile and warfare. During the same time, there was an accident that led to a huge explosion. This explosion killed several people instantly and the lucky ones who survived, mutated. Photorealism achieved – New screenshots from the Path-Tracer ‘Brigade 2’ Engine

Okay everyone, it seems that the team behind the Brigade 2 Engine has managed to produce photorealistic graphics. Hayssam Keilany has released a new set of screenshots from Brigade 2 Engine, showcasing some of the best graphics we’ve ever seen. This is not a stretch, as the following screenshots can be easily mistaken for real photos. The biggest issue of the Brigade 2 Engine (and ray/path tracing engines in general) is the noise/grain effect that is being introduced. If those guys find a way to minimize it, their engine will be able to challenge every other triple-A engine. Enjoy!
