Adventure fans, here is something special for you. Even though the Kickstarter campaign of ‘Broken Sword – The Serpent’s Curse’ has not hit its 1 million stretch goal in order to fund a sequel to Beneath a Steel Sky, the team has already plans for it and will start working on it after the release of this new Broken Sword game.
Revolution’s co-founder, Tony Warriner, told Develop:
“We’re delighted by the recent level of interest in a sequel to Beneath a Steel Sky and are currently discussing design ideas for this project which we plan to go into development following the release of Broken Sword – The Serpent’s Curse.”
Beneath a Steel Sky 2 will be developed for iOS, Android, PC, Linux and OSX. A console release might come at a later date.
Warriner concluded that the team is touched that its Steel Sky fans are as enthusiastic today as they were when the original game released in 1994.
