Great news for PC gamers as 2K Games has announced that a PC demo is available for its upcoming strategy game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown. The demo is 5.8GB in size and includes two tutorial levels from the single-player campaign, which will allow players to learn the combat controls and combat tactics, as well as introducing them to the XCOM base.
XCOM: Enemy Unknown will place you in control of a secret paramilitary organization called XCOM. As the XCOM commander, you will defend against a terrifying global alien invasion by managing resources, advancing technologies, and overseeing combat strategies and individual unit tactics.
The game is scheduled for an October 11th release and you can download its demo from here.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved - and still does - the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
