Metal Gear fans, it’s time for something really special. Kojima Productions and Konami has released the gameplay footage of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes that was showcased at Konami’s Metal Gear 25th Anniversary event. This is pure, in-game graphics that ran on a current-generation PC system. Contrary to the original, isometric games, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is a third person stealth game. Thankfully, Konami decided to release the footage with the original Japanese voices. And yes, the game looks gorgeous with Kojima Productions’ in-house FOX engine. Oculus Rift Kickstarter Campaign Ended – Raised Almost Two And A Half Million Dollars

The Kickstarter Campaign of Oculus Rift, the first truly immersive virtual reality headset for video games, has ended and was quite successful as it managed to raise almost two and a half million dollars, with 9522 people backing it up. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn – PAX 2012 Presentation

Square Enix held a PAX Prime 2012 presentation for its revamped MMORPG Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In this presentation, uploaded by YouTube’s member ‘Andrew Copeland,’ we learn that players will be able to use their skills from the start of battles, meaning that they won’t have to build up SP. In addition, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will sport a LevelSync feature, with which players will be able to drop down to their friends level to let them experience the game. Graphics have also been enhanced as the title now support dynamic lighting and shadows. Oh, and there will be crossplay between the PS3 and the PC versions. New spectacular community screenshots from Project CARS; First 360-degree interactive panorama shot

Slightly Mad Studios has released a new set of spectacular screenshots for its upcoming racing game, Project CARS. Project CARS looks mind-blowing and its attention to detail is phenomenal. According to the company, the following shots show purely in-game footage that has not been made in any special photo mode with no post-processing or filters that aren’t available during the actual gameplay. Splinter Cell Blacklist – Ghost/Stealth PlayThrough

Splinter Cell fans, the moment you’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist that focuses on the stealth gameplay that will be featured in this Splinter Cell game. The level that is showcased here is the same with the one that was demonstrated in this year’s E3 and shows a completely new way to complete it. Now we know, the AI seems a bit off, but then again that’s how things were in previous Splinter Cell games. Yes, the dog should have noticed Sam when he jumped over the wall and yes, the enemies have no peripheral vision. Deep Silver has released the first screenshots and a teaser trailer for Techland’s upcoming Dead Island game, Dead Island: Riptide. According to the publisher, Dead Island: Riptide is a spin-off and not a sequel to the first Dead Island game. Neverwinter – PAX Screenshots & Trailer

Perfect World Entertainment has released some PAX screenshots – and a trailer – for its upcoming free-to-play MMORPG, Neverwinter. The publisher has also confirmed an early 2013 release date for Neverwinter, providing developer Cryptic Studios even more time to add additional content and extra features that the developer team would love to have at launch.
