Assassin’s Creed: Revelations PC Leaked A Week Before Official Release

Ubisoft has been complaining these days about PC piracy but let us tell you this; they are the ones to blame. Why? Because they intentionally delayed the PC version of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. And guess what, the game has just been leaked and is fully playable. Yeap, contrary to most other leaks that we’ve seen in the past, this one has already been cracked and is fully playable. This is really disappointing and will impact the PC version’s sales but we’ll say it again. If Ubisoft had released it simultaneously with the console versions, we wouldn’t have this major leak and the game’s sales would be great. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier won’t be coming to the PC

Oh boy, it seems that today there are a lot of bad news for PC gamers. After the cancellation of Mortal Kombat: Arcade Kollection’s PC version, another one bites the dust. So, if you were looking forward to Ubisoft’s upcoming third person action-stealth game that will be based on the Ghost Recon series, you’ll have to buy a console. Why you ask? Because Ubisoft decided to cancel the game’s PC version. Oh yeah, no Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for PC gamers because you would pirate the hell out of it. Instead of Future Soldier, all those greedy PC gamers can go and play Ghost Recon Online that is free-to-play. Continue reading Ghost Recon: Future Soldier won’t be coming to the PC

Driver: San Francisco PC – The Way It Was Meant To Be Played

By now, most of you will already know that Ubisoft dropped the ball with the PC version of Driver: San Francisco, as that specific version lacks lots of post-processing effects that were present in consoles. Sadly, the company hasn’t released any patch to address this issue but there is seriously no reason to worry as the modding community is here to save the day. Ubisoft’s user ‘Beta_A’ went ahead and used the ‘ENB Series Resident Evil 4 v0074g’ version with Driver: San Francisco and the end result is amazing. Anno 2070 is now available on Steam

It’s funny but I’m glad that both Batman: Arkham City and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations got delayed. In fact, I really wish that both Arkham City and Serious Sam 3 would be delayed until December as November was full of new releases. But anyway, strategy fans will be pleased to hear that Ubisoft’s strategy game, Anno 2070 has just been released on Steam. Continue reading Anno 2070 is now available on Steam

Far Cry 2010 – Waterfall Demonstration

Far Cry 2010 is a graphics mod for CryTek’s masterpiece FarCry. This project started in April 2010 with the intention of improving graphics in all single-player campaign levels. Naturally we will remain with Far Cry’s established CryEngine. Yet Far Cry 2010 does not only improve textures and applies some other minor changes like it has been seen in so many minor mods since 2004, but it aims to overhaul each and every level. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Patriots – Target footage is disappointing to say the least

A few days ago, we posted an editorial about how all those dreadful scripted events are killing the gaming experience. Seems that we should had also added all those annoying QTEs that were used heavily in God of War. These QTEs are not immersive and have no place in modern-day games as they can be easily replaced by clever, real-time, gameplay ideas. Seriously developers, we are not watching movies. We are playing games and this is definitely not the right way to create dramatic or cinematic scenes. An adventure game like Heavy Rain can get away with this. But the sequel to one of the best tactical FPS games to be filled with QTEs? Seriously now Ubisoft? Oh the horror.
