Just WOW. I’ve been following this mess with Anno 2070, but… you know… I thought that Ubi would sort it out. Shockingly, the company have given the ‘finger’ to Guru3D and pretty much every gaming site that wants to benchmark their title, stating that Anno 2070 is restricted to only 3 hardware changes and that there is no way to bypass this feature. Today, Ubisoft announced that The Settlers Online, a browser based free-to-play strategy game set in the Settlers Universe, has reached more than 1.5 million players in its initial rollout in Germany, US, France and Russia. Great news for Ghost Recon fans as Ubisoft has just confirmed that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be coming to our beloved platform. As expected, the PC version will be released at a later date. Ubisoft has previously stated that Future Soldier wouldn’t be coming to the PC, so there are definitely some pretty good news. The console version on the other hand will be released on May 25, 2012. Ubisoft released a new video in an attempt to explain why Nadeo’s PC exclusive racer is “powered by players”. TrackMania 2: Canyon looks amazing and sports some of the best visuals in a racing game. Today, Ubisoft announced the debut of The Ancestors Character Pack, an all-new downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed Revelations for Xbox 360 and for PCs. This pack will be available on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation3 from tomorrow, December 14th. Today Ubisoft released new information and assets for the new Rainbow 6 title, Rainbow 6 Patriots. Team Rainbow faces a new and very real threat known as the “True Patriots,” a highly-trained, well-organized group of militias. The True Patriots are capitalizing on the growing sense of frustration and anger in a modern day America that they feel is irrevocably corrupted by greedy politicians and corporate special interests. Lead by a calculating figurehead named Tredway, this grassroots, homespun, terrorist organization will stop at nothing to overthrow the government and financial institutions to reclaim their country.
