Assassin’s Creed 3 is under development; coming on October 30

We knew that Ubisoft has been working on the third part of this acclaimed series, but this is the first time they have admitted it. Yeap, Assassin’s Creed 3 is under development. During an Ubisoft financials call, Yves Guillemot has stated that Ubisoft is working on Assassin’s Creed 3 and that it will be the ‘true next generation of both the Assassin’s Creed brand and interactive entertainment/storytelling in general‘ and that the game is slated for an October 30 release. Anno 2070’s first DLC, Eden Project, is now available

Ubisoft has announced that the first downloadable content for Anno 2070, the latest iteration of the hugely successful Anno franchise, is now available. Anno 2070 shifted to the future for the first time, offering an island of new technologies and challenges for the player to manage, along with a deep economic system and a dynamic game world. New Anno 2070 Update comes with improved Military balancing and Multiplayer stability

Ubisoft and Blue Byte have released a new update for their acclaimed strategy game, Anno 2070. This update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and comes with improvements to both the game’s Military balance and its Multiplayer stability, as well as various fixes, additions and improvements. Rayman Origins PC – Retail version will be DRM-free, Digital version will use TAGES-SolidShield

A lot of PC gamers were jumping up and down when Ubisoft announced that Rayman Origins would hit the PC and its retail version would be DRM-free. But what about its digital versions? Well, the news are not as good as you’d hope to as Rayman Origins PC Digital will use TAGES-SolidShield. That is suggested by both Impulse and GamersGate and was confirmed by Ubisoft themselves, so get ready for that annoying ‘5 machine activation’ limit. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – SP Campaign Gameplay Trailer

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for their action tactical third person shooter game, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, which shows off the game’s Single Player campaign mode. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier will launch in the UK on May 25, 2012. The game will be available for X360 and PS3, and for Windows PC at a later date. Rayman Origins is coming to the PC

Call us unimpressed, but there were a lot of signs, indicating that this amazing platformer would eventually hit the PC. And look and behold; Ubisoft has just announced that Rayman Origins will be available on PC on March 30th, 2012. Fifteen years after the first launch of Rayman, players can discover or rediscover the legendary 2D gameplay that captured the hearts of millions of fans. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations PC Patch 1.02 is now available

Alongside Assassin’s Creed: Revelations’ new, Mediterranean DLC, Ubisoft has released the 1.02 patch for the PC version of the game. This patch was released yesterday for the retail version and is available from here. Steam users had to wait a little bit longer but thankfully, this new update is now available for them too. Naturally, Steam will download along with its DLC, meaning that you will see a 3GB download of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations the next time you start the Steam client. Today, Ubisoft debuts the Mediterranean Traveller Map Pack, all-new downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed Revelations for X360 and PC. The Mediterranean Traveller Map Pack will be available for PlayStation 3 tomorrow, January 25, on the PlayStation Network. BlueByte to the rescue; removes the graphics hardware identification from Anno 2070’s DRM

Oh boy, we were sooooooo annoyed when we heard Ubisoft’s response to Guru3D’s issues with Anno 2070’s activations. And although the company stated that everything was working as intended, Blue Byte came to the rescue and removed the ‘graphics card identification’ from Anno 2070’s DRM. This basically means that PC gamers will be able now to change as many GPUs as they want, without facing any issues at all. Well done Blue Byte!
