Ubisoft announced today the release of the 0.10.0 update for its free-to-play PC shooter Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online. This latest game update brings a host of new content, including the Holdout game mode, the Balaklava Sub Pen map and the Clan Match feature, as well as several game service improvements and fixes. Today, Ubisoft and Nadeo announced that ShootMania Storm, the online multiplayer first-person shooter, will be released on April 10th, 2013. Starting February 12th, the game will enter an Open Beta phase allowing the developers to receive more feedback from the community and ensuring a higher level of polish before the release in April. The Deluxe Bundle DLC offers 6 new single-player missions, 4 rare animals, 2 multiplayer weapon unlocks, and all other previously released retail bonuses. Ubisoft has released today a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist – via IGN – in which the French company reveals the release date of its title. So, Splinter Cell fans, Blacklist is currently planned for an August 20th release on PC, X360 and PS3. Splinter Cell: Blacklist promises to satisfy both old-school and action fans, or at least that’s what Ubisoft aims to. Still, it will be interesting to see whether it succeeds in doing so or not. Ubisoft announced that the Battle Hardened Pack DLC is now available for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed III. The Battle Hardened pack extends the Assassin’s Creed III multiplayer experience with new playable characters and maps. Players will be able to choose three new multiplayer characters including the influential Governor, the resilient Highlander and the fearsome Coyote Man and play on three new multiplayer maps including Charlestown, Fort St-Mathieu and Saint Pierre.
