THIEF – Stories from The City – Part 3 – “The Thief Taker General’s Hunt”

Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming remake of THIEF, in which we get to know the Thief-Taker General. New THIEF Screenshots Released

Square Enix has released a new batch of screenshots for THIEF. Now this may be my imagination, but I swear that SweetFX’s sharpening filter can be noticed in these following images. That, or these are some shots that got their beloved ‘photoshop’ treatment. Either way, PC gamers will be able to match these visuals thanks to SweetFX, so there is no point claiming that they are bullshots. THIEF is coming next month on the PC and will support Mantle. AMD Shows Off THIEF Running On A Radeon R9 290X At 5400×1920

AMD has released a new video, showcasing Square Enix’s THIEF running on a Radeon R9 290X at a mind-blowing 5400×1920 resolution. This tech demo was used to demo the company’s new APUs, and five monitors were used that were running the game at native 1080p. THIEF – New Screenshots Released

Square Enix has released a new set of screenshots for THIEF. THIEF is scheduled for a February 25th release, and its PC version will be developed by Nixxes Software. The team responsible for the PC versions of Hitman: Absolution and Deus Ex: Human Revolution will support both AMD’s Mantle and TrueAudio, so it will be interesting to see the benefits of Mantle in older engines such as Unreal Engine 3. THIEF – Stories From The City Part #2 Trailer

Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal today released the second trailer in a series of stylized videos that focus on the rich narrative and characters of THIEF’s corrupt and broken city. As the press release reads, each trailer in the series tells a story from the perspective of a different character describing life in the broken, repressed City that is being ravaged by the ruthless Baron Northcrest and the mysterious sickness known as ‘The Gloom’.
