Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – New Tech Details Revealed, Dawn Engine Is a Heavily Modified Glacier 2 Engine

At this year’s GDC, Eidos Montréal’s Graphics Programmer Nicolas Trudel has revealed some new tech information about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. According to Nicolas, the Dawn Engine that powers this new Deus Ex game is a heavily modified version of IO Interactive’s Glacier 2 Engine. Moreover, the game’s global illumination solution uses hundreds of thousands of lighting probes. Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes have released a new patch for Rise of the Tomb Raider that adds DirectX 12 support to it. In addition, this patch adds a new benchmark to allow easy comparison of performance on different systems, as well as at different graphics settings, and fixes some HBAO+ and other Ambient Occlusion issues. Avalanche Studios has just released the PC performance patch for Just Cause 3. This patch is 641MB in size and will be auto-downloaded from Steam.
