Here are the things that will be addressed in the first updates of Gears of War 4

The Coalition has revealed the fixes and improvements that it is currently preparing for Gears of War 4. According to the team, the first updates will bring adjustments to the competitive Lancer/Gnasher, harsher quit penalties to players, competitive/Core lobbies, and will fix the PC mics issues that have been reported. Remedy releases new patch for Quantum Break that… removes its FRAPS watermark

Forza Horizon 3 – Second update detailed, releases later today & promises performance improvements

Microsoft and Playground Games have detailed the second update for Forza Horizon 3. According to the development team, PC gamers can expect some performance improvements as this patch will bring thread layout changes for eight-core setups. Owners of quad-cores can also expect performance improvements due to some CPU optimizations. Gears of War 4 – PC Performance Analysis

When the Ultimate Edition of Gears of War was released, we were kind of disappointed with its PC version. The game suffered from a lot of issues due to its UWP nature, it stuttered like crazy, it did not support a lot of things (like statistics, fps counter and extended PC options), and was – overall – a big letdown. Fast forward a few months and here we are today with the next part in the Gears of War series that is being brought to the PC by the same team that brought us Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Gears of War 4 – E3 2015 Demo versus Final Game

Digital Foundry has shared an interesting video, in which it compares the E3 2015 demo of Gears of War 4 with its final version. As we can see, and even though there are some level design and artistic differences between these two versions, The Coalition did not downgrade the game’s visuals. Okay okay, the wind effects are not that strong as they were in the E3 2015 demo. Overall, though, the final version looks as good as that initial demo. Gears of War 4 releases on October 11th.
