Intel Core i7 8700K reported to offer 11% faster single-thread & 51% faster multi-thread performance than the i7 7700K

Intel has hosted a training for retailers in China for its new upcoming Coffee Lake CPUs and according to some leaked slides, the high-end model – Intel Core i7 8700K – is 11% faster in single-thread and 51% faster in multi-thread operations than its predecessor, the Intel Core i7 7700K processor. These slides also confirmed the rumours that arose a few weeks ago, suggesting that the new Coffee Lake processors will feature more cores than their predecessors. First 3DMark score for Intel’s new Coffee-Lake i7 8700K, faster than i7 7700K & AMD Ryzen 7 1700X

Intel will officially unveil its 8th generation “Coffee Lake” CPUs on August 21st and it appears that the first 3DMark score has surfaced. According to the physics test – which is a CPU-only test – Intel’s i7 8700K is faster than its predecessor, the Intel Core i7 7700K, as well as both of AMD’s Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 CPUs. AMD’s Ryzen Threadripper 1950X is significantly slower in games than the Intel Core i9 7900X

Full official specifications revealed for Intel’s Skylake-X Intel Core i9, i7 and i5 processors

Last month, Videocardz leaked the specifications for Intel’s Skylake-X Intel Core i9, i7 and i5 processors. And today, Intel has official revealed the specs for these upcoming CPUs. Intel’s “Coffee Lake” Core i7 & i5 CPUs will most likely require new motherboards

And it appears that Intel has dropped the ball. A couple of days ago, we informed you about the full specs of the new upcoming Intel Coffee Lake i7 & i5 CPUs. These new processors will be using the LGA1151 socket, however it appears that they won’t be compatible with the LGA1151 motherboards that are currently available. Full specifications for Intel’s “Coffee-Lake” Core i7 & i5 CPUs have been leaked

It appears that the full specifications for Intel’s new Coffee-Lake Core i7 and Core i5 CPUs have been leaked. As it was leaked via Anandtech’s forum, there will be four new CPU models; two Core i7 and two Core i5. All of these brand new CPUs will feature 6 cores, will be compatible with the LGA 1151 socket, and are planned for release next month (during this year’s Gamescom).
