Gears of War: Ultimate Edition – New update enables unlimited frame-rate & adds V-Sync toggle

The Coalition has released a new update for the PC version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. According to the release notes, this patch adds a frame rate limit selector via which players can completely unlock the game’s framerate. In addition, the team has added a V-Sync toggle, via which PC gamers can disable V-Sync. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition – Fourth PC Update Now Available

The Coalition has released a new patch for the PC version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Unfortunately, this patch does not add support for multiple GPUs. Our guess is that such a feature will be added once Microsoft updates the functionalities of all UWP applications. Anyway, back on topic. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition – Third PC Update Now Out, Packs Optimizations To Reduce Hitches

The Coalition has released the third PC update for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. This third patch adds support for ultra-wide resolutions, adds an FPS counter, and features pipeline state object cache optimizations to reduce hitches during level transitions. The Coalition has revealed the release notes for the third PC update of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. According to the release notes, this patch will add support for ultra-wide resolutions and will feature some adjustments to low (1GB VRAM) texture settings. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition – New Update Now Available, Packs Performance Optimizations

As promised, The Coalition released today a new update for the PC version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. This patch is 2.3GB in size and according to the changelog it packs performance optimizations, disables mouse smoothing and features various Ambient Occlusion tweaks. GOW: Ultimate Edition – Developers Answer Community Questions About Multi-GPU, Freesync, FPS Counters & More

The Coalition’s Cam, Technical Director for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Windows 10, has answered some community questions about it. According to Cam, The Coalition will be looking at adding a FOV option and Freesync support. The team is still working on adding multi-GPU support, and they may include options to skip the startup movies , add a Vertical-Sync option, as well as options for Depth of Field and Film-Grain effects.
