Gears of War: Ultimate Edition – New Update Now Available, Packs Performance Optimizations

As promised, The Coalition released today a new update for the PC version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. This patch is 2.3GB in size and according to the changelog it packs performance optimizations, disables mouse smoothing and features various Ambient Occlusion tweaks.

This patch is available to download via the Windows 10 Store page.

  • Refactor of texture settings to better reflect VRAM requirements and to better manage the texture levels for each setting.
  • Ambient Occlusion tweaks (visual adjustments on our end).
