Last week, we informed you about a mod that removes the blue tint filter and the colour grading effects from DICE’s FPS, Battlefield 3. Although the comparison screenshots looked great, players had the ability to further tweak the settings of that mod. Electronic Arts and Maxis have released some new screenshots for SimCity that showcase the in-game disasters that will be featured. Players can expect to see earthquakes, meteor showers, tornadoes and UFO invasions. SimCity will take advantage of Maxis’ new game engine – called GlassBox Engine – and promises to be friendy to mods, to utilize traditional zone placement and to feature curvy roads. Now this is exactly why we hate DLCs, especially when their contents are cut from the actual game. Mass Effect 3’s producer Mike Gamble revealed today that the Omega DLC will be unleashed on November 27th and will be priced at 15$. According to Gamble, this will be the biggest DLC to date for Mass Effect 3 and will be twice the size of the largest Mass Effect 3 DLC so far. Our reader Crusnik8 has informed us about a new map for Crysis 2 that blends together Crysis 2 visuals with Mirror’s Edge parkour mechanics. This is a new multiplayer/singleplayer map, created by WaR_SPiRiT, where players can test their parkour skills in Crysis 2. Electronic Arts has released a new video for Criterion’s upcoming racer, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, that showcases its Multiplayer mode. According to its description, the online mode in NFS: MW will be about friends and fun, as long as by “friends” you mean the people you want to slam off the road and by “fun” you mean intense competition, brutal humiliation and maniac driving. Electronic Arts has released a new set of screenshots for Danger Close Studios’ Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Medal of Honor Warfighter tells the personal story of U.S. Tier 1 Operator “Preacher,” as he returns home only to find his family torn apart from years of combat deployment. Electronic Arts and Crytek have released a new multiplayer trailer for Crysis 3, in which producer Mike Read explains some of the new gameplay elements introduced to the Multiplayer Hunter mode of the game. Hunter supports 16 players in which two players are the hunters and 14 are C.E.L.L soldiers. Crysis 3 is currently planned for a 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. Enjoy!
