Street Fighter x Tekken PC – Preorders next week or so, no DLC on disc, PC Requirements coming soon

Capcom’s Svensson and Yoshinori Ono have released some interesting new information about the upcoming PC version of Street Fighter x Tekken. According to Ono, the PC version will not include the DLC on disc. A lot of fans began wondering the reasons behind that and Capcom’s moderator ‘Deva Ashera’ shared some thoughts about it. According to Deva Ashera, PC gamers are used to downloading large patches, which is what the DLC characters will end up as and that the worry about hard drive space is not as big of deal as on consoles since the game will be mainly distributed via digital stores. Mega Man X gets a fan-made live-action short film

As we’ve said so many times, we love live action short films. And today we bring you a Mega Max X live action short that was made by Olan Rogers. This is all independently made as Rogers didn’t have a lot of money but he decided to do it anyway. Rogers had 700 dollars, two green sheets, an amazing prop maker, two actors who worked for free and one of his friends who helped with the animations. For that kind of budget, this short film looks great. Enjoy! Continue reading Mega Man X gets a fan-made live-action short film

SFxT PC won’t support local co-op, no physical copies for purchases via Capcom USA Store

We hate to be the bearers of bad news. Unfortunately though, a nice co-op feature that was found in the PS3 version of Street Fighter x Tekken won’t find its way into the upcoming PC version. Local co-op allows two players to go online as a team on one console and play. This feature is not supported in the X360 version of the game and as Capcom’s Christian Svensson revealed, it won’t be included even in the PC version. Guile’s theme from Street Fighter 2 on violin

Street Fighter has some of the most memorable themes. Ken’s theme is a rock solid track, while Ryu’s is all about relaxing. And who can forget Guile’s theme? Once you hear this theme, it gets stuck in your head for hours. Just look around and you will see lots of videos featuring this particular theme as… well… it pretty much goes with everything. Naturally, a lot of people requested Lara to give it a shot. Who is Lara you ask? Lara is a talented girl that made covers for lots of videogames. What’s really great about Lara also is that she plays the songs by ear as there aren’t any sheets from most videogame tunes. And since we love Ken’s theme, we decided to also include the main menu theme from the HD remake of SSF2T. Enjoy! Continue reading Guile’s theme from Street Fighter 2 on violin

Capcom’s Christian Svensson puts all ‘Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3X’ rumors to rest

A couple of days ago, Neogaf’s user ‘cednym’ informed everyone about a supposedly new version of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. According to cednym, his local GameStop shop had a listing for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3X. That new version of UMVSC 3 would feature 8 new challengers and would be priced at $14.99 as a DLC and at $39.99 as a packaged disc version. Naturally, fans asked Capcom whether those rumors were true or not and Capcom’s Christian Svensson went ahead and answered to them. Mind-blowing Street Fighter x Tekken Live Action Short Film

Now this is awesome. Yeah, Kazuya is not as cool as I’d hoped to but this live action short film that is based on Capcom’s and Namco’s crossover between Street Fighter and Tekken is amazing. Thankfully, the dialogue is in Japanese which adds a nice touch and the fights are gorgeous. And Ken is as cool as always. And Jin makes a short appearance at the end. And there are special ‘signature’ moves from both sides. And now I seriously want a triple-A movie of Street Fighter x Tekken. Enjoy!
