Capcom showcased the latest build of Resident Evil 6 during Microsoft’s E3 2012 Conference and you can find below some new footage from it. As we can see, Resident Evil 6 feels awkward as the quick time events (that were introduced in RE4) have been extended and enhanced. It does look somehow interesting, although there were a lot of framedrops in the X360 build. Let’s hope that Capcom will optimize the game’s scenes in order to avoid them. The company has also released the official E3 trailer for it. Resident Evil 6 is slated for an October 2nd release on X360 and PS3. The game will also hit PC at a later date! If memory serves right, Lost Planet 1 was a fantastic third person action game with huge bosses. Fast forward a couple of years and here we are today with Lost Planet 3, a game that looks more similar to Dead Space than to its predecessors. Pressing buttons? Check. Riding elevators? Check. Slow movement? Dark hallways? Check. Quick-time events? Check. Man, talk about inconsistency. Anyway, you can find the gameplay video below, so go ahead and take a look! Remember when we claimed that Devil May Cry would be coming to the PC? Well, we were right as Capcom has officially unveiled that the game will hit our beloved platform in 2013, after the release of its console version. Not only that, but the game’s development is ‘well underway’, meaning that Capcom is not waiting to finish the console version before starting developing it, which was the case with SSF4: AE. According to the press release, the game is developed by Ninja Theory and this could be the first PC title from this company, so it will be interesting to see how it will perform and whether it will be a polished port or not. That’s hilarious. PC gamers have been waiting patiently for the PC version of SFxT and now that they have it, they can’t even enjoy it as Street Fighter x Tekken PC suffers from the same issues that were present in the console versions at their time of release. And although those issues have been fixed on the console versions, Capcom has not applied those fixes on the PC version that was delayed. This basically means that PC gamers will have to wait even more, especially if they want to enjoy the online mode of SFxT. Continue reading Street Fighter x Tekken PC suffers from the same, initial issues and bugs of the console versions→
Man, I really feel sorry for Capcom. Yesterday, the PC version of their amazing mashup between Tekken and Street Fighter got leaked but that shouldn’t be an issue as SFxT is slated for release in a couple of days. Not only that, but SFxT is all about the online fights and naturally, those with pirated versions cannot enjoy them. Which is a good thing mind you. What really surprised us today though was the fact that another Capcom title got leaked before hitting stores. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City PC has been leaked to various torrent sites, two weeks before release, and is fully playable. Evolution is THE event for fighting fans. Each and every year, we get amazing matches between some really hardcore and astounding players and back in 2004, a moment was meant to be written in history. It was at that time when Daigo revealed his fury and monstrous skills in his Street Fighter III: The Third Strike match with Justin Wong. That was an unforgettable moment and to our surprise, the creators of anime Acchi Kocchi recreated that moment in it. Below you will find both the original video and the footage from Acchi Kocchi. Enjoy and keep in mind that Evolution 2012 is almost around the corner! Continue reading Evolution 2004’s Epic Moment #37 recreated in anime Acchi Kocchi→
Capcom has released the first episode of an animated short film for Street Fighter X Tekken. This first part shows some of the game’s characters and explains Shadoloo and Mishima Zaibatsu are fighting each other. It looks cool, but the animated short is only available in English. We strongly believe that there should be a Japanese version and hopefully Capcom will release one. In other news, Street Fighter x Tekken is slatted for a May 11th release. Enjoy!
