A few days ago, we reported – based on Jon Peddie Research’s quarterly discrete video card sales report for Q4 2017 – that PC gaming remains the primary driver for GPU sales. According to a new report by Jon Peddie Research, over three million add-in boards were sold to cryptocurrency miners in 2017 worth $776 million, and most of these GPUs were coming from AMD. AMD reveals the specifications of its upcoming Ryzen APUs

AMD today revealed the specifications of its first desktop APUs that will be based on the “Zen” architecture. The red team will be initially launching two APUs; the Ryzen 3 2200G and the Ryzen 5 2400G. The Ryzen 5 2400G will be priced at USD $169 whereas the Ryzen 3 2200G will be priced at $99, and both of them will be available on February 12th.
