AMD officially announces that AIBs will launch new brands for its GPUs, attacks NVIDIA’s GPP
Last month, we reported that third-party GPU manufacturers were removing AMD’s graphics cards from their gaming brands. And while some did not believe us, the cat is now out of the bag and all three major AIBs, Gigabyte, MSI and ASUS, have reportedly removed them. Not only that, but ASUS has already created a new brand under which it will be selling AMD’s graphics cards. And AMD has just made it official. First third-party gaming benchmarks for AMD Ryzen 7 2700X surface online
Last month, we shared the specifications and the first official gaming benchmarks from AMD for its upcoming 2nd generation Ryzen CPUs. AMD officially reveals its refreshed RX 500X series of graphics cards
AMD has officially revealed the refreshed models for its RX 500 series of graphics cards. AMD will re-brand its GPUs by adding the “X” at the end, and will be offering five models. AMD confirms CTS Labs security exploits, will fix them through BIOS updates in the coming weeks
On March 13th, CTS Labs published some security exploits that it discovered on AMD’s CPUs. CTS Labs got in touch with the red team on March 12th and gave it only 24 hours before going public. Obviously that was kind of fishy and a lot of people were curious whether these exploits were legit or not. And today, AMD released a statement, acknowledging and confirming those exploits, and claiming that it will fix them through BIOS updates.
