Metro Exodus – Day-1 Update detailed, full patch release notes revealed

4A Games has released the day-1 update for Metro Exodus (which is around 2GB in size) and revealed its complete changelog. According to the release notes, this day-1 patch  adds more filters for Photo Mode, improves VO and subtitles timing in all languages and brings general performance, balance and polish improvements. Metro Exodus will support DLSS alongside the real-time ray tracing RTX effects

NVIDIA has officially confirmed that it will work together with 4A Games in order to add support for Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) in Metro Exodus. The green team did not reveal any additional details (like whether DLSS will only be available for 4K resolutions or whether it will be available for both 1440p and 4K). 4A Games developer: If Metro Exodus does not sell on the PC, the next Metro will not come out for it

Last month, Deep Silver announced that Metro Exodus will be a timed-exclusive title on Epic’s digital store for the PC. Metro Exodus will not release on Steam, will be coming exclusively on Epic’s digital store

Epic Games and Deep Silver announced today their partnership to launch digitally on PC the highly anticipated Metro Exodus via the Epic Games store. According to the the game’s official Steam store page, this is an exclusive deal, meaning that the game will not be available on Steam at all (those who have pre-ordered the game on Steam will still get it).
