THQ Nordic CEO Lars Wingefors has confirmed that the majority of the digital sales for Metro Exodus are coming from the Epic Games Store. This basically means that the Epic Games Store is the leading digital platform for Metro Exodus, something that re-affirms the successful PC launch of the game on Epic’s store. THQ Nordic has 48 unannounced games under development, 4A Games working on a new triple-A game

THQ Nordic has published its Q5 earnings release, revealing that it currently has 48 unannounced games that are under development. As the publisher noted, by the end of the quarter, THQ Nordic, Deep Silver and Coffee Stain had 80 games in development, of which 48 titles are currently unannounced. 4A Games has released a brand new update for Metro Exodus. According to the changelog, this March 2019 update adds a New Game+ mode, adds DualShock and Steam Controller support, and packs general Karma system improvements as well as Localization fixes and improvements. Here is Metro Exodus running in 8K/Extreme Settings with 60fps on two NVIDIA Titan RTX GPUs in DX11

YouTube’s ‘Thirty IR’ has shared a new video, showing Metro Exodus running in 8K resolution, 7680×4320, on Extreme settings. In order to achieve something like that, Thirty IR used two NVIDIA Titan RTX graphics cards in SLI and used the DirectX 11 API (as SLI is not currently supported in DX12). Metro Exodus second update released, full patch release notes revealed

4A Games has released the second patch for Metro Exodus. This is a small patch that will update your Steam game version to 1.0.0.2 and your Epic store version to 1.0.1.2 (you can verify your game version by looking at the Main Menu Options or Pause menu). Latest Metro Exodus update significantly improves DLSS quality, comparison screenshots

We were hugely disappointed when 4A Games and NVIDIA implemented DLSS in Metro Exodus. Contrary to the synthetic benchmarks we had previously seen, the DLSS implementation in Metro Exodus was awful. Thankfully, NVIDIA and 4A Games have significantly improved it, making DLSS now a viable option for those interested in it.
