Battlefield 3’s DLC is almost upon us – unless you own a PS3 – and as you may have heard, it brings a new way of unlocking the new weapons in Battlefield 3. Assignments are being implemented and bellow you will find the full list and details in how you can unlock all ten Back to Karkand weapons. Now I have to say that I’m not a fan of this kind of unlocks and strongly believe that unlocks should stay the way they were. Still, DICE’s attempts to offer something new to the table are noted. VGA Trailers; Hitman: Absolution, C&C: Generals 2, Mass Effect 3, Tom Clancy’s Patriots & Diablo III

Instead of posting each and every trailer of VGA’s games – that will be released on the PC – on each own, we decided to include all of them in one big post. Overgrowth Alpha 161 Changes

Wolfire Games released a new video that showcases the changes that were made on the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. Overgrowth Alpha 161 now features an SSAO shader, characters that look around during idle animations, sound priorities, some torso movement during head look, fixed shadow decal opacity on objects and fixed color palette cancel. Well, get ready everyone because gionight is back in action with some astounding Skyrim screenshots. Now we’ll be honest here; after viewing these screenies we wanted to restart Skyrim and play it with gionight’s mod collection. According to the modder, the following images are not photoshopped or doctored in any way. These are realtime, in-game screenshots that were captured with the game’s free cam. iRacing is still the best racing sim; This video will make you fall in love with racing sim games

Okay, I now want to play a racing game. This is what came to my mind while watching this video from YouTube user ‘chadsmith20’. We do know that iRacing is one of the best racing sims but it appears that nothing can really come close to it at this point. Sure, GT5 and Forza 4 have better presentation but when you properly setup your system, iRacing’s experience is unmatched. Moreoever, chadsmith’s setup – alongside with the triple-monitor and the wheel – is simply a beauty to behold. This is how you should be playing racing games guys. Enjoy the video after the jump! Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [December 4th – 10th]; Skyrim and FM2012 retain their thrones

It appears that a lot of PC gamers love soccer games, as Football Manager 2012 is still at the top place of the retail UK PC charts. Followed by Skyrim, FM2012 proves that there is a huge market for manager games. Well, at least if there is a good one as EA’s attempt is nowhere to be found. Although Battlefield 3 gained some places last week, it is behind Modern Warfare 3. On the other hand, both Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Batman: Arkham City lost four and two places, respectively. PC gamers, meet The Afflicted; an Unreal Engine 3 indie game that supports DX11

Autonomous Games has announced that their Unreal Engine 3 indie game, The Afflicted, will be released on January 2012 and will support DX11. This means that The Afflicted will feature Multi-sample anti-aliasing, Image-Based Reflections, Tessellation,  Screen Space Occlusion Mapping, Deferred Shading, and Bokeh Depth of Field. In addition, the company released some new screenshots to show off these new graphical features and can be viewed bellow.
