Square Enix today revealed its DLC plans for Sleeping Dogs. According to the company, there will be a range of new downloads available at launch to help players get ahead of the game, including the 80s-inspired Retro Triad Pack, a killer old school outfit with its own player buffs and funky kung-fu van. New content packs are planned from September, beginning with a high-speed Racing Pack and an explosive SWAT Pack, while further announcements will follow soon. Gearbox has unveiled the third episode of its behind-the-scenes videos for Aliens: Colonial Marines, in which the company’s members talk about the story and tension that will be present in this new Aliens game. Aliens: Colonial Marines is currently planned for a 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. Fans of the Aliens movie will be able to see places they are familiar with and according to Randy Pitchford, players who survive an aliens wave and beat them will feel really badasses. 2K Games and Gearbox have released a new trailer for Borderlands 2 and we’ve got to admit that Gearbox knows how to create hilarious trailers. After the ‘Wimoweh’ trailer, here comes another one that gives us an insight on the game’s story mode and classes. In Boderlands 2, players will have to defeat handsome Jack who is the main antagonist and has a few tricks up his sleeves. Borderlands 2 is planned for a September 21st release on PC, X360 and PS3. Devolver has revealed that Hotline Miami is coming to Steam, Get Games, and other fine digital download services in 2012. In addition, the publisher has also unveiled that the game will be playable at Gamescom 2012 by visiting Steam’s booth in Hall 7, C30. Hotline Miami is a top-down action shooter in which players can blast through over 20 multiscreen levels with 35 unique weapons and collect 25 game-altering masks in one of the darkest and most unusual independent games on the scene. Reto-Moto has released a new videolog for their free-to-play first person shooter, Heroes & Generals. This videolog shows some of the features of the new ‘Crace’ and ‘Dietl’ updates for Reto-Moto’s upcoming Massive Online Strategic Shooter: Heroes & Generals. THQ has released a new trailer in which Lead Combat Designer, Ben Cureton, introduces us to the Arena mode within Darksiders II. The Arena Mode of Darksiders II will feature 100 waves of combat (in total) and players will be given the choice of taking a price after completing five waves, or risking everything and continuing for the next waves of enemies. If players will under-powered – in the Arena mode – they will be able to develop their character in the SP mode and return to it at a later time.
