YouTube’s member ‘MarphitimusBlackimus‘ has uploaded a gameplay video from the tech demo levels of Half-Life Alpha v 0.52 dated September 4, 1997, over one year prior to the finished game’s release. And you know what? I seriously love this kind of videos that show how games looked like before their time of release. The reason I love these videos is because we get to see an – almost – completely different game. 4A Games has revealed – via the game’s official FB page – that a new, 3D demo of Metro: Last Light will be available on Nvidia’s booth at this year’s CES. The demo will be live from January 8th to January 10th, and hopefully the company will release it on the Internet afterwards as a trailer. Dean Hall, creator of DayZ, has released a new set of screenshots from the standalone version of his zombie game that is being developed by him and Bohemia Interactive. Dean has also revealed some new information abou the standalone version. As you may have guessed, the game did not manage to hit its 2012 release date, and that was because Dean wanted to create something more than just a repackage of his mod. Chris Davie, former employee of Bizarre Creations, has shared a video, showcasing a prototype version of the last game that was being developed by that gaming studio (before getting shut down). According to Davie, Bizarre Creations has been using a new engine for that cancelled game and even though this racing title was not playable at all, Davie has managed to get its Dubai track as close to final as possible. The latest Top 10 PC charts have been revealed and as we can see, Far Cry 3 and Football Manager 2013 are the best selling titles on Steam’s digital and UK’s retail PC charts. This week’s UK PC Retail Chart is almost the same with last week’s. The only difference is that The Sims 3: Generations lost the ninth place, a place that currently belongs to Farming Simulator 2013.
