Deep Silver today announced that the PC version of the pirate RPG Risen 2: Dark Waters will fully support the 3D Vision technology from Nvidia. Eugen Systems and Focus Home Interactive have released a new update for their real-time action strategy game, Wargame: European Escalation. This update comes with improved tree/grass rendering performance, improved DX11 performance, 60% FPS increase with Nvidia cards when using Autodetect settings, better CrossFire support and memory optimizations. Now this is awesome. Yeah, Kazuya is not as cool as I’d hoped to but this live action short film that is based on Capcom’s and Namco’s crossover between Street Fighter and Tekken is amazing. Thankfully, the dialogue is in Japanese which adds a nice touch and the fights are gorgeous. And Ken is as cool as always. And Jin makes a short appearance at the end. And there are special ‘signature’ moves from both sides. And now I seriously want a triple-A movie of Street Fighter x Tekken. Enjoy! There was a lot of confusion between Gaijin’s World of Planes and Wargaming.net’s World of Warplanes. Thankfully, Gaijin decided to rename their title and it’s now called War Thunder: World of Planes. A bit different from Wargaming.net’s title so let’s hope that there won’t be any confusion in the future. Not only that, but Gaijin revealed today the release tree of USSR aircraft to be included in their upcoming combat MMO. As we hinted yesterday, DICE promised to announce some interesting things in GDC. And we are happy to report today that both DICE and EA decided to demonstrate their ongoing commitment to fans by unveiling three new themed digital expansion packs that will enhance the superior Battlefield experience with fresh and innovative gameplay, new modes, unique environments and more ways to wage all-out-war on the battlefield. Powered by the Frostbite 2 engine, the next expansion packs are: Battlefield 3: Close Quarters in June, Battlefield 3: Armored Kill in the fall, and Battlefield 3: End Game in the winter. Okay, we know that Molyneux has been hyping his games to the death, but it’s really sad to see Lionhead’s co-founder leaving the company that he has created. As the big K revealed a couple of minutes ago, Peter Molyneux will be leaving Lionhead Studios after Fable: The Journey gets finished. Ironically, this very same thing happened with Bullfrog, the first company that Molyneux created. Bullfrog was bought by EA back in the days and after a while, Molyneux left it in order to create Lionhead Studios. Good news for Batman fans as Rocksteady has a new patch for the PC version of Batman: Arkham City. Although we don’t have enough info about it, we do know that this patch will address the stuttering cut-scene issue that some players have experienced and – most probably – the game’s DX11 performance. According to Sarah Wellock, Rocksteady’s European Community Manager, the patch is with G4WL for submission and awaits Microsoft’s certification.
