Ubisoft has released today a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist – via IGN – in which the French company reveals the release date of its title. So, Splinter Cell fans, Blacklist is currently planned for an August 20th release on PC, X360 and PS3. Splinter Cell: Blacklist promises to satisfy both old-school and action fans, or at least that’s what Ubisoft aims to. Still, it will be interesting to see whether it succeeds in doing so or not. Remember Final Fantasy’s CG trailer that was released two months ago? Well, good news for all graphics whores and CG fans as XLGames has released a new, CG, trailer for its upcoming MMORPG that is powered by Crytek’s CryEngine 3, ArcheAge, that looks just as good as Square Enix’s attempt. Electronic Arts has released the fourth episode of its 7 Wonders web-series for Crysis 3. This episode concentrates on one of the newest weapons of Crysis 3, the Typhoon: one of Earth’s most lethal weapons that’s capable of firing 500 rounds every second. Ubisoft announced that the Battle Hardened Pack DLC is now available for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed III. The Battle Hardened pack extends the Assassin’s Creed III multiplayer experience with new playable characters and maps. Players will be able to choose three new multiplayer characters including the influential Governor, the resilient Highlander and the fearsome Coyote Man and play on three new multiplayer maps including Charlestown, Fort St-Mathieu and Saint Pierre. Wargaming today announced that Update 8.3 for its massively popular MMO action game World of Tanks, complete with the addition of a brand new nation, the Chinese, is now live in Europe and Southeast Asia. I seriously don’t know who is crazier; Blizzard for not offering WOW’s license to this theme park or China’s organizers for not acquiring the rights? You see, a new theme park opened its gates in China and features big and enormous statues, inspired by Blizzard’s MMO. It also has roller coasters and it will cost you 30$ to get in (so waste no time if you are near Changzhou). And it looks epically amazing. In fact, this could very well be the only theme park I want to visit right now. Since I can’t though, I’ll have to simply rely on mere images to satisfy my need.
